Getting married in a barbershop is something different that has never been done before, the first venue of its kind, right here on the Gold Coast!
This concept was created by husband and wife duo, Joey & Nicoletta. Joey has been a renowned Gold Coast barber for over 30 years, taught barbering from his dad Luigi who was the very first barber on the Gold Coast in 1961.
Nicoletta has been in the wedding industry since 2014 with her own brand Wood & Beau offering mens accessories for grooms & groomsmen worldwide which includes, wooden bow ties, leather bow ties, leather suspenders & socks.
Mobile Barber Shop Depot opened in March 2018 and already is a 6 chair barbershop in Bundall, in the heart of the Gold Coast. Joey & his team of Master Barbers are very experienced in any aspects of barbering from traditional haircuts to hot towel shaves and beard trims. This Gold Coast barbershop is very family friendly, it offers a variety of games to keep you entertained including a pool table, ping pong, Giant Jenga, pinball machines plus they also offer a complimentary beer or whiskey while you wait for your service, a great place to come with your mates and socialize.
This wedding venue is really something you have never seen before, a 376m2 space featuring antique furniture & props, an antique piano and pool table, vintage barbering tools hanging on the walls, contrast lighting, original wall paper from the 60's. A wedding venue like no other, your guests wont stop bragging about it.
At Mobile Barber Shop Depot you can also have your wedding ceremony, not only your reception. Our Gold Coast barbershop can help create a stunning ceremony which comes complete with a range of antique furniture including a signing table, chairs and rugs. The only thing you need to hire for the ceremony if you would like to add fresh flowers to the space is a florist, all the rest is available for your to use! For the reception there are high tables and stools, multiple lounges and the only thing left for you to worry about is your own choice of catering and a mobile bar to serve your drinks, this venue is strictly BYO alcohol, this can help cut your cost down a lot and make things a lot less stressful for you! Mobile Barber Shop Depot has a small outdoor courtyard which has stylish outdoor furniture and hanging lights to set the scene for your wedding. This venue isn't your traditional wedding venue, its more a place to have a great party that you and your guests will speak about for a long time!
