GOLD COAST VENUE HIRE
WEDDINGS
The set up for a wedding can start the morning of the wedding day taking in consideration the barber shop will be operating while the styling gets done.
We have 2 options for the ceremony space: The Cut Throat Chapel that is an area already styled with an outstanding floral installation, neon signs, antique chairs, rugs and very quirky props or the side of the barber shop area, a blank canvas where you can start your concept styling from scratch.
The Cut Throat Chapel can be booked any day of the week, the side of the barber shop area is available on Sundays & Mondays only, when the barber shop is closed.
Saturday bookings in the Cut Throat Chapel, the ceremony will start at 4.00pm with guests arriving from 3.30pm. On a Sunday you can pick your preferred time.
RECEPTION
The venue will be open from 5pm with guests arriving anytime from 5.30pm.
All guests to leave our premises by 11.30pm with Bar service and music to cease at 11pm.
For up to 50 guests $3,000 + GST
For up to 100 guests $4,000 + GST
The price includes the use of all our furniture & decor, security and one staff on site providing coordination on the day for the duration of the entire event. The coordination includes the set up of the cocktail/reception area as per your requirements, greet your guests on arrival, meet and greet all vendors and ensure correct placement or delivery.
Our staff will make sure everything will run smoothly for a complete peace of mind.
We have a pool table, ping pong table, giant Jenga, Connect 4, pinball machines and Giant cinema light box, that can be used for your event at no extra cost.

3.30-5.30pm
$1,500 + GST
Guests arrival from 3.30pm, ceremony start time 4pm, with all guests leaving the premises by 5.30pm
The price includes full ceremony set up by our awesome team using all our unique antique furniture and chairs, rugs, vases, signing table, candles and props.
If you would like to add extra florals you will need to hire a florist, we can recommend a few.

CLEANING:
Cleaning fees are included in the Hire Fee
SERVICE OF ALCOHOL:
Our Venue is BYO and alcohol must not be sold on the premises and must be served to your guests by staff with an RSA or caterer. We recommend to use our resident Airstream Austream Affairs if available on the date of your event. You can contact Olivia on 0406006640, she offers special prices for our venue or you can contact your preferred Mobile Bar / caterer.
FOOD:
The Depot does not have a kitchen or food licence. Power is available for caterers and food trucks can be parked either at the front of the main entrance or at the front of the side entrance. We have a list of caterers/food trucks we worked with and recommend but you have the ability to choose any caterer you like.
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT:
The Depot has one female and one male toilet available to the hirer and the hirer’s guests. The Depot is equipped with Sonos sound system, which can play music from Spotify or Apple Music. Should the hirer not wish to hire a DJ or musician, then he may make use of the Depot’s Sound System.
PACK DOWN:
The Depot closes at 11.30pm.
The hirer shall ensure that the service of any food or beverages ceases at 11pm. The hirer shall ensure all music, whether electronic or acoustic, ceases by 11pm.
All guests must leave the Depot by 11.30pm.
The hirer must ensure that all empty bottles, empty plastic ware and cigarettes are disposed of in the bins provided. The hirer shall ensure that no such items are left in the car park in the street.
The alcohol left and remaining prop/equipment can be collected at an agreed time and day depending on other bookings
(either the following day or when the barber shop is open)
DEPOSIT: $500 to secure your date & remaining balance due 2 weeks prior to wedding date

This is how the 5 hr package works:
If the party starts at 6.30pm we will open our venue at 6.00pm for vendors and organisers only.
(Decorations and set up will be made during this time)
Guests arriving from 6.30pm
The music and service of alcohol will cease at 10.30pm.
Pack down (10.30-11.00pm) and all guests to leave our premises by 11.30pm
CLEANING:

Any furniture, alcohol or catering equipment obtained by the hirer from third parties and external to the equipment provided by the Depot, shall be collected at the cessation of the Hire Period or the day after at an agreed time with the venue staff.
BOND: $1,000
PHOTO SHOOT HIRE GOLD COAST
We hire our space for photo and video shoots. If your photo shoot happens during our barber shop trading hours, without causing too much disruption to our clients, the price is $60 + gst per hour.
If the barber shop is closed, the price is $100 + gst per hour.
